Tips to change file associations quickly :
To change file associations (the program used to open the file) you do not need to go to registry. How easy is that select the file you want to change. Press the Shift key and right click on the file menu that appears with the Open. Click on the menu and select the program that will be used to open the file type. Give the check on the "Always use this program to open this type of file." Finally click OK.
