NVidia Ion in Lenovo IdeaPad S12

The Chinese manufacturer Lenovo has taken its competitors for speed and has announced the first NETBOOK equipped with the new graphics chip from Nvidia Ion. I do not know if the Lenovo IdeaPad S12 still comes under the category of netBook with its 12 inch screen or the Ultraportables?

In any case, the machine has a normal size keyboard (100%), a LED backlit screen WXGA (1280x800), an Intel Atom N270 clocked at 1.6GHz, 1GB RAM, 160GB HD (or 250 or 320GB ), a 6-cell battery, an Ethernet jack, WiFi, Bluetooth, 3 USB port, card reader 4 in 1, an ExpressCard slot and HDMI output.

It will be available in June at a price of 449 Dollars for the version with 3 cell battery and 499 € for the version with 6-cell battery.

Team Notebooks magazine had the opportunity to play with a pre-release and the results are rather good. The machine seems to be correctly in 3D games and video playback in 1080p.
