The Product called the HP Pavilion dv6 HP was already launched in October 2011, as part of the 3 premium class notebook, which was launched at once. Today, HP is specifically re-launched the White Linen version of HP Pavilion dv6, which is a notebook that is devoted to women.
HP White Line, (or the HP Pavilion dv6-6167tx series), is a premium notebook from HP is presented in white patterned. HP White Linen is equipped with second-generation Intel Core i7-2670M processor, with specifications 4GB DDR3, 640 GB HHD, 15.6-inch HP BrightView LED screen, and ATI Radeon HD 6490M 1 GB, and using Windows 7 Home Premium.
"Compared with a collection of another HP's notebook fashion, HP White Linen is designed to have a larger size with more sophisticated specifications, to meet the needs of executive women, as well as women hard core gamers," explains Theresia Ellytasari, Marketing Director, Personal Systems Groups , HP Indonesia in a news conference in Papilonduo Cafe, Pacific Place, Jakarta, Friday (18/11/2011).
This is not the first time for HP launching fashion notebook. Previously, HP had released three products that combine technology with fashion. The first product is the HP Mini, which is a tiny netbook that can be carried like a clutch. HP claims this product as a first digital clutch that exist in the world.
HP Mini, launched in 2008 designed by top fashion designer, Vivienne Tam and packaged in a project runway at New York Fashion Week.
The second product is the HP Mini 110, was designed by designer Tord Boontje. This notebook used in Sex and the City 2 movie.
The third fashion notebook is HP-Marchesa-Swarovsky which is a collaboration between HP and the fashion brand Marchesa and jewelry company Swarovsky. This product is not sold to the public and is only produced for collection company purpose.
While Two another fashion designed by Vivienne Tam and Tord Boontje produced in very limited quantities in each country.
HP design the White Linen in three different places from three different countries, namely Houston, Cupertino, and Taipei to gain a multicultural design.
