Knowing The IP Command

Below is commands in relation with networking. To do that, we must use MS DOS prompt. See if you want to know one of more networking job.

ipconfig /all
Showing information about connection configuration, such as Host Name, Primary DNS Type, Ethernet Adapter LAN, etc.

ipconfig /displaydns
Showing DNS Cache.

ipconfig /flushdns
Delete DNS Cache

ipconfig /release
Releasing all of IP Adderss connection.

ipconfig /renew
Renewing IP Address for several adapter.

ipconfig /registerdns
Refreshing DNS and re-register DNS connection.

ipconfig /showclassid
Showing DHCP Class information.

ipconfig /setclassid
Changing DHCP Class ID

control netconnections
Showing Network Connection.

ping
Ex: ping www.bewegaleri.com
Do connection test to www.bewegaleri.com site. The smaller percentage loss the better connection.

tracert
Showing IP Address route information.

netstat
Showing information about active TCP/IP.

route
Showing local route.

hostname
Showing computer name.
